Algeria stagnated at the 25th place in the FIFA ranking, unveiled Thursday, May 8 .In Africa, Algeria rest in third place behind the Ivory Coast (1st) and Egypt (2nd). Mauritania had a good increase of 13 places to hit the 139th spot.

At the global level Spain keeps the top spot, followed by Germany and Portugal. The 207th and last place in the ranking is occupied by Turcks and Caicos.
